Wedding Day of Tracy Millar and Mark Vickers at the Roxburghe Crowne Plaza Edinburgh
I was delighted to be a part of Tracy and Mark wedding day at http://theroxburghe.com/ Hotel as I had never had the chance to work at this venue before I was not let down. What a great venue staff! They were great, always there to help when needed.
So it was time to pop in and see Tracy and the Bridesmaides as I went in everything was nice and calm Tracy and Carrie were getting there makeup on the flower girls were playing on there tablets and Tracy's mum Mary was getting phone calls from the family. So I just got started on the getting ready images starting with the WEDDING DRESS Shoes and Jewellery ect then just working round everybody taking images of everybody getting ready.
I had a bit of time before Tracy got her dress on so I headed down to the reception room to take some shots of the room and what a gorgeous room it was, all the tables with there high vases and minatures for the men and what I think was heart shaped bath bombs for the Ladies I then headed out to meet the Groom Mark and Best man Danny (Marks brother). The gents were looking very sharp in their kilts. so we went out and got some images around the venue we headed down to Rose Street as the http://www.edinburghguide.com/venue/charlottesquaregardens was closed due to the https://www.edbookfest.co.uk/. The guys were happy to have a bit of fun so we spent about 15 minutes taken various images around Rose street
It was time to go back and take the images of Tracy getting here dress on. Before I got there I bumped into the Guys from http://www.abbeyweddingproductions.co.uk/ I had never worked with these guys before but what a professional team they were and good laugh too. I then headed up to see Tracy she looked stunning in her wedding dress but the best part of the day was seeing her dad seeing her for the first time very proud Dad. We then got some portraits on the stair case, then it was that time Ceremony time the room looked gorgeous! Mark and Danny standing at the front waiting on Tracy the piper started and the Bride walks in. Walking down to Mark as he looks over his shoulder and give a smile to his new wife to be.
The ceremony was short and sweet but very personal for the two of them. Once the ceremony was over we headed out to the glass lounge were there was sweets for the kids and Canapes for the adults. The Bride and Groom spent time with the guests for around 20 minutes then we started with the wedding guests group shot were the hotel staff had a room that we could go 3 floors up to get them from above. it was then on to the family group shots and portraits of the Bride and Groom.
After the Photographs it was time for the speeches and wedding breakfast ect. The speeches were short but funny, Danny enjoyed having a dig at his brother Mark and Jimmy the father of the bride enjoyed embarrassing Tracy. After the wedding breakfast and speeches we had a bit of time till the reception so we went and done some more family photographs and portraits
On to the Reception it was time to cut the Cake the groom was presented with a sword from his Grandfather all the Vicker Brothers get when the get married. Tracy and Mark used the sword to cut the cake then it was on to the first dance it was great to see the both of them spend a few minutes just being with each other. They had another two dances and that was time for me to leave and let the wedding party enjoy the night. I would just like to wish Mark and Tracy all the best for the future.
